Fathers Day race Easton

The Children’s Museum in Easton’s
23rd Annual Father’s Day Road Race and Family Fun Walk
North Easton – The annual Fathers’ Day Road Race, thanks to Title Sponsor Bourne’s Auto Center, has become a staple for many families South of Boston. The race is set for Sunday, June 18, 2017.
The road race offers three choices: USATF 5K and 10K runs, and a 5K non-competitive Fun Walk allowing participants to choose their pace and a distance that suits their ability, allowing beginner and experienced runners to participate in one event together.
The race course is one of the area’s most picturesque courses, winding past mansions and H.H. Richardson historical buildings in North Easton. The race course was voted Best of 2014 South Shore Road Race Guide’s “Best Race Course.” The course winds through sites in historic North Easton and takes runners and walkers through the privately held, Langwater Estate. The race goes under the Gate Lodge, past the Gardener’s Cottage, both National Historic Landmarks, and over the Langwater Bridge and into the Governor Ames Estate. The 5K and 10K courses can be viewed on the website: http://childrensmuseumineaston.org/fathers-day-road-race/
